Join Us as a Volunteer
Do you have a kind heart, a listening ear, and a passion for supporting autistic and neurodivergent young people?
We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic volunteers to support our work with autistic and neurodivergent girls aged 11–18.
At Ashley’s House, we provide a safe, nurturing and sensory-friendly environment where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, connect with others and feel understood and supported.
Whether you’re a student, parent, retired professional, or simply someone who would like to make a positive difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteering at Ashley’s House
As a volunteer, you may have opportunities to:
- Build meaningful and positive connections with our young people
- Support practical life skills and creative activities
- Encourage confidence, communication and independence
- Support emotional and social wellbeing
- Gain valuable experience within a nurturing, neurodiversity-affirming environment
- Become part of a welcoming and supportive team
Previous experience is not essential. What matters most is warmth, patience, reliability and a genuine willingness to support our young people in a respectful and understanding way.
