£400 per weekend

Do you believe in doing things differently with heart, purpose, and deep respect for neurodiversity?

Ashley’s House CIC is looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Weekend Club Manager to lead our thriving weekend respite provision for autistic young women aged 16–25 with moderate to mild needs.

This is no ordinary manager role it’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people who are too often misunderstood, overlooked, or unsupported.

About Us:

Ashley’s House CIC was created from a heartfelt need in the community. What began as a simple autistic girls’ club has quickly grown into a full weekend provision because we listened to what families needed.

Based at St Helens School, our club offers a calm, structured and joyful space for autistic young women to connect, build confidence, explore life skills, and feel safe just being themselves.

Your Role:

As Weekend Club Manager, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the smooth running of the weekend provision
  • Manage a small, dedicated team of support staff and volunteers
  • Ensure the safety, emotional well-being and inclusion of all participants
  • Build trusting relationships with young women and their families
  • Plan and coordinate meaningful, person-centred activities
  • Monitor progress and feedback, helping us to continually evolve
  • Liaise with parents, professionals and the Ashley’s House team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with autistic people or within SEND settings
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • A warm, person-centred approach with excellent communication
  • Passion for inclusion, neurodiversity and empowering young women
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable and able to problem-solve on the go
  • DBS checked (or willing to obtain one)
  • Relevant qualifications in education, health, social care or youth work (desirable but not essential)
